My genealogy research services are tailored to your needs.  Whether you need a few records looked up, or another pair of eyes to analyze your tree and suggest new avenues of research, please contact me.

Once I have enough information about your family history question, I will provide a written proposal for your approval. Depending on how complex the question is, I may suggest research in phases of research. I do not charge for estimates.

I also offer consultations. Cost depends on the number of hours required:

• Customized training and demonstrations - using your family members's informaiton - of how to research using online tools, such as FamilySearch.org, Ancestry.com, and FindMyPast.
• Assistance with software selection for family tree.
• Assistance uploading and downloading family trees to/from Ancestry.com and DNA databases.s

When I provide you an estimate, it may include a range of cost or a suggestion that we break the project into phases that you authorize at each stage. It can be difficult to know the number of hours required until I put in the first few hours of research. I may also encourage you to set a "not to exceed" limit.
